A school teacher was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a seven-year-old girl in a private school in Landhaura area of Haridwar district. According to officials, the police received a complaint from the family members of the girl. The complainant stated that the accused teacher identified as Imran was sexually abusing the child studying in class I and had threatened to kill her if she told anyone in her family about the abuse. Taking serious cognisance of the case, the Manglaur police arrested the accused teacher on Thursday. He has been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other relevant sections. Officials said that considering the seriousness of the allegations, the police acted swiftly to arrest the accused. F
