The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat has directed the Primary Education department to start the process of recruitment on the vacant posts of the primary teachers of the State. A total of 2100 posts of the primary teachers are vacant in the government schools of the State. The minister said that the High Court has ordered a stay on the recruitment of 451 posts of teachers. He said that the department should start the process of recruitment on all the vacant posts barring 451 on which the HC has put a stay. The minister has also directed the department to start the process of deployment of the serving teachers deployed in the schools located in inaccessible (Durgam) areas to the vacant posts in the accessible (Sugam) areas.
