CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — A Martinsburg man wanted by U.S. Marshals was arrested after a police pursuit across Harrison County Thursday afternoon.
According to a release, Chad Aric Berry, 37, of Martinsburg, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. Thursday after being wanted by U.S. Marshals for violating the terms of his supervised release that he was serving following a 2017 conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
U.S. Marshals said that they had identified a residence where Berry was residing in Anmoore. While law enforcement was surveying the residence, officers said that they saw Berry exit the building and enter a vehicle.
U.S. Marshals then requested assistance from the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, who attempted a traffic stop on Berry's vehicle while he was driving
