SHEPHERDSTOWN -- The Little House will be reopening its doors to the public on Saturday, after undergoing an extensive restoration this year.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., "Spooky Stories for Kids" will be held at the 95-year-old play house on Shepherd University's campus. Children in preschool through sixth grade are welcome to attend the event, which will feature spooky tales being told, snacks, free books and an opportunity to write spooky stories of their own.
"Shepherd University’s National Writing Project site will host a 'Spooky Stories' event on October 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Little House," Shepherd University National Writing Project Co-Director Brian Santana said.
