MARTINSBURG - A large-scale sports and recreation complex known as Project AllStar was announced this week, marking what officials described as one of the county’s most ambitious economic development efforts to date.

Presented by the Berkeley County Development Authority (BCDA), the ambitious project proposes a multi-use athletic complex designed to attract youth tournaments, recreation leagues and regional visitors. The proposed site is located in Tabler Station, with planned space for multiple indoor and outdoor playing fields, community gathering areas and support facilities.
