UNION COUNTY, S.C. —

A teacher and assistant baseball coach in Union County, South Carolina, has been arrested on allegations of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

According to the Union County Detention Center website, on Thursday, 29-year-old Nicholas Bryan Turner was arrested on the following charges:

Criminal solicitation of a minor

Third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor

Union County Detention Center

According to Union County Schools, Turner is an assistant baseball coach at Union County High School and a PE teacher at Sims Middle School in Union.

Union County Schools released the following statement:
