Early 2026 opening expected

The Scottsdale Plaza Resort is being rebranded as a Kimpton hotel.

The 42-acre resort, located in Paradise Valley at 7200 N. Scottsdale Rd., will be the first branded IHG luxury and lifestyle property in the Paradise Valley/Scottsdale market.

It is expected to open in early 2026.

This will represent the brand’s second property in Arizona, followed by the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in downtown Phoenix.

The Paradise Valley hotel was formerly known as Miralina Resort & Villas, and now Kimpton will be added to the title, which Leanne Harwood, SVP, managing director, Luxury, Lifestyle & Managed Hotels for IHG Hotels & Resorts, says will bring a rich legacy and unique approach to the Phoenix metro area.
