PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - A woman is accused of stabbing a stranger in the Humboldt neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon.
Portland police say officers responded to a stabbing at North Killingsworth Court and North Albina Street at about 1 p.m. When they arrived, they found a woman who was seriously hurt.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive.
The suspect, identified by police as 50-year-old Angela Marie Morris, walked away after the stabbing but was found by officers and arrested near North Killingsworth Street and North Minnesota Avenue. A knife was seized as evidence.
According to police, the victim and Morris do not know each other.
Morris was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center for first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and unlawful u
