A Highmark Health subsidiary that serves Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans formally opened an 82,500-square-foot warehouse and fulfillment center Thursday,
Forge, which is part of Highmark’s wholly owned enGen subsidiary, held a ribbon-cutting at the Neville Island facility. The company creates print, digital and mail materials for nine Blues plans in nine states and other clients.
Downtown-based Elmhurst Group owns the building, once a World War II boat-making facility that had been vacant for 10 years. Forge invested $3.5 million in the building for modernization.
