BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man is now behind bars in connection with a deadly shooting in Baton Rouge.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Joshua Richardson, 23, turned himself in to police and was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

He is facing charges of second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.

The shooting happened around 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, at the Villas at Stone Creek apartment complex.

Police say Richardson shot the victim, identified as Robert Detiege, 38, after arguing.

Detiege died at the scene.
