Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Congress on Wednesday announced its decision to support National Conference (NC) candidates in the Rajya Sabha elections scheduled for Thursday, despite expressing dissatisfaction over the functioning of the alliance between the two parties. In a letter to NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah, J&K Congress chief Tariq Hameed Karra said the party would vote for NC nominees “as candidates of the alliance” in order to maintain unity against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
