Srinagar, Oct 23: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Thursday announced its open support to the National Conference (NC) in the Rajya Sabha elections, offering six votes while deferring the rest for “eventual wisdom”.

Addressing a press conference here, JKPCC chief Tariq Hammed Karra said, “Following the Congress party’s decision regarding tomorrow’s voting for four Rajya Sabha seats, the party held two rounds of deliberations, one on Wednesday and one on Thursday. We were in close contact with our central leadership, who sought information and asked queries.
