NORRISTOWN — A 20-year-old Norristown man is serving a stint behind bars, followed by a probationary period, in connection with drug crimes he committed during his involvement with a “hybrid street gang” in the borough.

Xavier Amir Fuentes, of the 1200 block of Pine Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 11½ to 23 months in the county jail after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of corrupt organizations and possession with intent to deliver marijuana in connection with incidents that occurred between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2025.

Judge Thomas M. DelRicci, who accepted a plea agreement in the case, also ordered Fuentes to complete three years of probation, consecutive to parole, meaning Fuentes will be under court supervision for about five years.
