Long-standing Frank's Family Pizzeria in downtown Wyandotte will close its doors at the end of the month.
“After much consideration, the time has come for us to say goodbye,” a Facebook post read. The owners called the closure “bittersweet” while extending their “deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us over the years.”
Josh Cade, owner of Frank’s Family Pizzeria and several other restaurants in Wyandotte, confirmed the forthcoming closure, stating it was a “business decision.”
“The small mom and pop pizza places need to be owner-operated,” Cade said.
Frank’s Family Pizzeria, located on Biddle Avenue, will stay open through Oct. 30 with a menu of pizza and salad, Cade told the Free Press. Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games
