MARTINS FERRY, Ohio (WTRF) — In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Vitalant is holding a series of blood drives throughout the Ohio Valley, the most recent of which took place on Thursday at Martins Ferry High School.
The event was hosted by the School's National Honor Society and included staff and students.
Those who donated blood now have a chance to win $10,000 through Vitalant's "Tune Up Your Technology" giveaway.
It's just a way for students and staff to make a real impact on the community. Just one donation can save up to three lives. It's a great way to help."
If you couldn't make today's event, Vitalant will hold its final blood drive of the month tomorrow at West Liberty University.
It gets underway at 11 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m.
