COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Two people were arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of over one pound of suspected methamphetamine.
On October 22, 2025, around 10:16 p.m., detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle at the intersection of State Route 16 and Township Road 347 for marked lane violations.
A K-9 unit performed an open-air sniff and alerted to the vehicle. During the search, deputies found approximately 1.12 pounds of suspected methamphetamine.
The vehicle’s occupants were taken into custody without incident.
James L. Cox, 48, of Coshocton, and Destinee M. Rehard, 26, of West Lafayette, were both charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a first-degree felony.
