Calgary police are asking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle and its driver following a pedestrian hit-and-run in the southeast Calgary community of Mahogany over the weekend.

Officers responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Mahogany Street and 52 Street S.E. at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, CPS said in a news release.

“Investigators believe the pedestrian, a 71-year-old woman, was walking eastbound in a marked crosswalk along 52 Street S.E. in a light-controlled intersection,” police said.
