After months of construction, McDonald’s has now opened in Pike Road.
The restaurant, which is near the corner of Vaughn and Pike roads, opened at 10:30 this morning for its first customers after holding a soft opening earlier this week.
People were already lined up to be one of the first 50 customers through their doors and drive-through to receive a gift box of 52 “Be Our Guest” cards for free meal.
Beverly Addison was the first customer at the new McDonald’s and says it’s a great thing that shows growth in a safe place for kids to go in Pike Road.
“If they have children, children are the future, kids need a place to go. Kids need a safe place to go. So if you believe in children that they are the future, than you believe in growth. This is growth, let’s grow,” Addison told Action
