A 39-year-old man was arrested for stabbing another man after he refused to provide the suspect with drugs in Pioneer Square on Wednesday.

At approximately 2:00 p.m., a 34-year-old victim alerted Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers in the 500 block of 3rd Ave., reporting to them that he was stabbed, SPD announced .

The victim relayed to officers that the suspect approached him, asking for drugs. The victim told the man that he didn’t have any drugs, which prompted the suspect to stab him.
