A man is dead after he was shot in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston on Wednesday night.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. on Oct. 22, at 15 Saint Rose St., according to the Boston Police Department.

The man was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds at the scene and was brought to the hospital, where he later died on Wednesday night, police said.

According to witnesses, at least eight shots rang out, The Boston Globe reported. Neighbors ducked for cover inside their homes, WHDH reported.

No arrests have yet been made in connection with the killing.
