MADISON (WKOW) — Attorney General Josh Kaul announced a $4.8 million settlement with TFG Holding, Inc., the online retailer behind brands like JustFab and ShoeDazzle.
The settlement resolves allegations of deceptive advertising and billing practices related to their VIP Membership Program.
The settlement will provide $3.8 million directly to eligible consumers, with $117,652.75 allocated for Wisconsin residents, according to a press release. The remaining $1 million will be distributed to the participating states.
“Consumers should have clarity about any program they’re being signed up for. And if they choose to cancel, they should be able to do so without any unnecessary impediments,” Kaul said in a statement.
