FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A Fort Wayne husband and wife accused of allowing one of their children to strangle and point a loaded handgun at his stepbrother were arrested Thursday.

Anthony and LaTasha Rybolt, also known as LaTasha Money, are each charged with child neglect with bodily injury in the incident. One of the husband’s children contacted police in April to report that his stepbrother attacked him while he was staying at his father’s and stepmother’s home, according to court records.

The victim told police his stepbrother strangled him, pointed a loaded black 9mm handgun at his stomach and told him, “I don’t need you anymore,” court documents say. The boy said his father and stepmother did nothing to stop the attack, saying, “Just don’t kill him,” to his stepbrother.
