TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - The Transylvania County Sheriff's Office said that one man was arrested in connection to a shooting that left one person injured.
On Wednesday October 22, deputies were called out to Pisgah Highway in the Pisgah National Forest in regarding a reported shooting. Upon arrival, authorities said they quickly located a person of interest, and they were taken into custody.
A victim was located and transferred to the Transylvania Regional Hospital, where they are reportedly in stable condition.
Investigators said the suspect and the victim knew each other.
The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Joshua Matthew Fortuner of Brevard. Fortuner was charged with two counts of second degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm into
