A Pulaski County man was taken into custody and charged with drug-related offenses following a traffic stop late Wednesday night, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
The incident began when Detectives from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division were conducting surveillance in the Parkers Mill area of Pulaski County. Detectives had been conducting an investigation into Sharmarke Ali, 20, of Somerset. Detectives observed Ali traveling northbound on U.S. 27. The vehicle Ali was operating had expired registration plates, according to the sheriff's office.
