ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - CHRISTUS Health is giving back to the Central Louisiana community in a big way by awarding more than $300,000 in grants to several local nonprofit organizations.
The funding is part of the health system’s mission to strengthen families and improve community health.
A celebration took place at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital on Oct. 23, where five local nonprofits were recognized for their dedication and service to the region. The organizations receiving grants include:
Catholic Charities
Central Louisiana Homeless Coalition
Children’s Advocacy Network
Family Justice Center
Food Bank of Central Louisiana
