ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock toured Texas State Technical College's Abilene campus Thursday to highlight the state's Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) initiative, which aims to give parents more options in their children's education.

During the visit, Hancock explored several hands-on training areas, including HVAC and plumbing labs. He met with students and instructors, gaining insight into the practical skills programs that prepare graduates for in-demand technical careers.
