Warren Hills head coach Joseph Macho wants to see his team fight whether it’s a preseason scrimmage or a historic rivalry contest.

That’s because “F.I.G.H.T.” represents the tenets Macho has tried to build his program around in his first year in charge of the Blue Streaks.

The acronym stands for “Family. Inspires. Growth. Habits. Team.”

Warren Hills has an opportunity to show the fruits of that philosophy on a grand stage Friday night.

The Blue Streaks (4-4) will travel to Hackettstown (4-4) for the 100th edition of a Warren County rivalry that dates to 1906.

“I’m sure it’ll be a dogfight Friday night at Hackettstown,” said Macho, who served as the Blue Streaks’ offensive coordinator previously. “We’re excited for the challenge.”
