MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Oakland Police Department is releasing little information about a missing man found dead Thursday.
On Tuesday, a "Missing Person Local Alert" was issued for Steven Holcomb, 59. According to a Facebook post, Holcomb was last seen alive on Monday. He was captured on his front-door camera at 11:23 a.m. as he left his residence.
In a new post, the OPD said:
"Unfortunately, Mr. Holcomb has been located and is deceased. We would like to send our thanks to the community for all of the shares, comments, and concerns. We would also like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Holcomb. The Oakland Police Department takes this loss along with all of you, as many of our officers have spoken with Mr. Holcomb either at his workplace or outside his home."
