CHEYENNE – A new Wyoming Business Council poll depicts strong public support for economic and population growth across the state, showing that many residents want to see their communities expand and challenging the long-held belief that residents prefer to keep the state small.

WBC released the poll Oct. 15 after surveying 514 registered Wyoming voters in September. The poll measured attitudes on economic conditions, development priorities and community growth.

The survey specifically asked voters their opinion on youth retention, population growth, growing the job market, the conditions of the Wyoming economy, what they want to see happen next in terms of solutions and more.
