Police have launched an investigation after a driver was injured in a late-night truck crash.

Emergency services were called to Ophir Road in Clifton Grove, between Pearce Lane and Gulgan Road at about 1am on Friday, October 24.

Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and found a truck had crashed into an embankment and rolled.

The driver - a 28-year-old man - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for head and leg injuries and taken to Orange Hospital for mandatory testing.

As of publishing, the results of that test have not come back

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.
