A Muscogee Nation jury acquits a Haskell foster mother of neglect after a video showed her leaving her foster child outside in the cold while barefoot.
It happened back in February this year during freezing temperatures.
Kaytlin Fultz told investigators she had put the girl outside to reset herself, and the girl refused to put on her shoes.
Haskell Police say the neighbor who called 911 said the girl was outside for close to 15 minutes.
DHS removed the foster child from the home after the incident, and the state board of education suspended Kaytlin's teaching license.
Her husband, Andrew, is still charged in state court for felony child neglect.
The girl's biological mother has also filed lawsuits against both parents and DHS for negligence.
