POTTSVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The daughter and wife of a missing Arkansas veteran have been indicted for alleged wire fraud and conspiracy connected to collecting VA disability payments after the man's disappearance.
Shannon Lee Collins was reported missing more than four years ago after his wife told the Pope County Sheriff's Office he walked away from their Pottsville home in March 2021.
Shannon Collins' wife, Treasa Collins, and daughter, Brittany Collins, have a trial date set for Jan. 20, 2026, after an investigation revealed the two allegedly collected Shannon's VA disability payments for around nine months after he was last seen.
The indictment said Shannon Collins traveled to Tennessee in March 2021 but had no contact with his immediate family after that.
