TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - We are all under constant attack from cyber criminals.
But that threat is also an opportunity for students at Pima Community College.
Gov. Katie Hobbs on Thursday announced a new partnership between the college and the state.
PCC gets equipment covered by the state, which gets paid interns who get real-world experience.
“This means everything to me. This is my career change here, and I want to help protect the country, the world, everybody,” said Christopher Shaw, an intern in a new cybersecurity partnership between PCC and the Arizona Department of Homeland Security.
Thursday’s announcement was held at the Cybersecurity Operations Center at PCC East.
