ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 2025 Mountain West men's basketball preseason polls and awards were announced on Thursday. The Lobos were selected 5th in the predicted order of finish.

Ten players from the conference were selected to the All-Mountain West preseason-team. Senior guard Deyton Albury was the only member of the Lobos selected.

Albury, a transfer from Utah State is the only player on the Lobos roster to have previously played in the Mountain West. In his one and only season in the league, he averaged 9.2 points per game.

On Wednesday, the women's poll and awards were also announced. The women's team was also picked to finish in 5th.
