New South Wales allrounder Jack Edwards has been called into his first international squad after being added to Australia's ODI squad for the final match in Sydney while Glenn Maxwell and Ben Dwarshuis are fit to return for the latter stages of the upcoming T20I series against India, with young WA quick Mahli Beardman also called up for the T20Is.

Cricket Australia confirmed a host of changes to the two white-ball squads on Friday with Marnus Labuschagne released from the ODI squad ahead of the final game in Sydney on Saturday to prepare for Queensland's Sheffield Shield clash with NSW that starts on Tuesday at the Gabba.
