MARIPOSA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A diner in Downtown Mariposa run by a local nonprofit and farm is closing its doors after two years.
Happy Goat Yosemite is a farm and nonprofit that says they feed families in need, protect the community with goat-powered fire prevention, and heal the land through regenerative farming.
They also have Farm to Table - a diner in Mariposa.
The nonprofit's diner serves items directly from the farm, with its menu changing by the season.
But it was announced on Thursday by Farm to Table that they would be closing permanently after two years on Oct. 27.
Their hours for their last week will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The nonprofit said that the farm and retail store will continue operating.
