The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the two men who died in an Oct. 17 murder-suicide at a 7-Eleven in Hazel Dell.

According to officials, Ryan Taylor, 26, of Vancouver, shot Pardeep Kumar, 37, of Vancouver in the head with a handgun before shooting himself.

Authorities said Taylor and Kumar had no apparent connection.

In a social media post Sunday, employees from the 7-Eleven said Kumar was a “beloved member” of their team and were saddened by his loss.

“Pardeep was kind and compassionate, and our customers loved him for the same reason,” the post said.
