10th-seeded Toms River North defeated seventh-seeded Middletown South 2-0 in the first round of the Shore Conference Tournament behind two goals from Jillian Tetzlaff in Middletown.
Tetzlaff scored her first goal in the first quarter before tacking on an insurance goal in the third quarter.
Delaney Roonan made 11 saves to secure the shutout.
Toms River North (11-6) will visit second-seeded Point Pleasant Boro, No. 12 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the quarterfinal round on Saturday at a time to be announced. Middletown South (8-7) will host Toms River East on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
