SOLON, Ohio — For more than six decades, the smell of sizzling bacon and freshly poured batter has signaled one of Solon’s favorite fall traditions, the annual Kiwanis Club of Solon Pancake Breakfast.

This Sunday, Oct. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Kiwanis Club of Solon and Solon Masonic Lodge 757, along with the Solon High School Key Club, will host the community breakfast at the Solon Community Center, 35000 Portz Parkway. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 10.

The all-you-can-eat spread includes a variety of pancakes such as blueberry, chocolate chip, buttermilk and even sprinkle-topped, along with sausage, bacon, juice, coffee and other breakfast favorites.
