SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A Shreveport man has been arrested for possessing and distributing child pornography, Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. reported.

Cooper Johnson, 21, of the 4800 block of Youree Drive, was arrested Oct. 22 and booked on ten counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles at the Caddo Correctional Center.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit received information Aug. 1 from the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office regarding the online distribution of suspected child sexual abuse material in Caddo Parish.

Detective Lites identified Johnson as the individual responsible for distributing multiple instances of CSAM to other online users during the investigation. Judge Ramona Emanuel signed a search warrant for Johnson’s residence Oct. 13.
