Update: As of 4:30 p.m., the crash has been cleared and the northbound lanes reopened.
A crash in York County is closing part of Interstate 83 north Thursday afternoon, according to PennDOT.
The crash, which involved multiple vehicles and at least one tractor-trailer, took place around 3 p.m.
The northbound lanes of I-83 are closed at exit 16B for Queen Street. Vehicles forced to exit at 16B are reentering the highway at the Mt. Rose on-ramp.
It is unclear what caused the crash, if anyone was injured or how long the highway will remain closed.
