STERLING HEIGHTS – Daniel Buzdugan recalls numerous tennis courts battles with his older brother Alex Buzdugan.

They never kept an official tally of who won more head-to-head matches.

“One of us would get mad so we never really kept official record,” said Daniel Buzdugan, who is a current senior at Sterling Heights Stevenson. “But that was a lot of fun playing against him.”

While the younger Buzdugan recalls his older brother bragging in the past that he was better, perhaps Daniel Buzdugan has decided that truth on the prep tennis courts.

Daniel Buzdugan recently finished up one fine senior season in a Stevenson uniform – and one great prep tennis career as well.

The younger Buzdugan posted a 21-2 record this 2025 season which ended in the Lower Peninsula Division 1 No. 1 Singles stat
