MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Halloween decorations that gained a lot of attention outside Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch’s home have been replaced.
The new display features pumpkins that read “Make Halloween Great Again,” tombstones that say “R.I.P Sense of Humor — From Beginning of Time to October 2025,” and a skeleton wearing a skirt labeled “Karen.”
Earlier this month, decorations in the sheriff’s yard showed skeletons dressed as ICE agents chasing others wearing sombreros and ponchos. The display sparked mixed reactions, with some calling it inappropriate for a public official, while others described it as harmless or dark humor.
