MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — After flames tore through 3Circle Church in midtown Mobile, members are already cleaning up, salvaging what they can, and preparing for what comes next.
Fire investigators determined the blaze was caused by an electrical issue inside the church’s sanctuary, the part of the building that sustained the most damage.
On Friday, church leaders and volunteers gathered on site, clearing debris and carrying out items that survived the flames.
“We can't be too discouraged when things in the world fall apart, because that's how life goes. And so that's been our first job as pastors, is just reminding people that our hope is not in the building. Our hope is in Jesus, that hope never fades,” said Micah Gaston, the campus pastor at 3Circle Church.
