LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) -- The Pine Tree Pirates picked up a big win over the Chapel Hill Bulldogs at home on Thursday night to secure a spot in the playoffs.

FINAL SCORE: Chapel Hill- 28 Pine Tree 35

Following the win, the Pirates advance to 5-3 and will look to pick up their sixth win of the season in their final away game of the season next Friday against the Lindale Eagles.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs fall to 5-4 and will face the Henderson Lions at home next Friday in their final game of the regular season
