GILMER, Texas (KETK)-- The Pleasant Grove Hawks picked up their fourth win in a row on Thursday evening after a dominant win over the Gilmer Buckeyes on the road.

FINAL SCORE: Gilmer 7- Pleasant Grove 41

Following the win, the Hawks advance to 7-1 and remain undefeated in district play. The Hawks will look to keep their winning streak alive next Friday when they face the Pittsburg Pirates on the road.

Meanwhile, following the loss, the chances of the Buckeyes making the postseason grow slimmer as they drop to 2-6. The Buckeyes will look to bounce back next Friday on the road in a district matchup against the Spring Hill Panthers, who are currently 1-6.
