FBI officials were at a home in Avondale on Oct. 23 after a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle with two officers inside was rammed by someone they tried to pull over, according to a spokesperson for the FBI's Phoenix office.
The "target vehicle failed to stop, attempted to return to a residence and upon arrival at the residence rammed into an ICE vehicle," said FBI Phoenix Field Office spokesperson Kevin Smith. The field office opened an assault on a federal officer case, he said.
