Enterprising reporting by The Blade is bringing to the public’s attention a case of possible misconduct involving payments to a contractor at Lucas Metropolitan Housing.
It appears that something not right was going on with LMH’s contracting practices, but the public is getting little information from the LMH board itself.
Two chief financial officers have now resigned over the course of a few months.
The most recent acting CFO simply resigned after only a couple of months on the job, without any hint of any wrongdoing but without offering any public explanation.
