LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- UofL medical students are opening the Cardinal Direction Clinic next month to provide health care to underserved Louisville communities.

The clinic is set to open Nov. 5 and will operate on Wednesdays going forward.

It will give students hands-on clinical experience while providing vital services to patients who might not have access to health care.

SOS International is helping get the clinic ready, providing essential medical and office equipment to ensure it’s fully operational.

“This community is constantly changing, and it has ever-evolving needs,” said UofL medical student Caden Seraphine.

The clinic will also expand patients with limited health care options, connecting education and community service in Louisville.
