Halloween conjures up many different images: the fun of dressing up, the excitement in children’s eyes, the prickly tingle of fear as they creep through a haunted house and the guilty pleasure of lots of candy and junk food.

We can’t ask our cats what they think of Halloween, but their memories are probably a good deal less positive than ours. Can you imagine how they feel with lots of strange people knocking on their door, their family dressed up in scary and frightening costumes or a loud Halloween party in their house? Absolutely frightening! Even worse than that is being expected to wear a costume when they look perfectly wonderful in the fur they were born with!
